Live Like a Local Los Angeles

For years, I’ve been helping my clients live like locals while on travel or working from “home”. It’s a great way to immerse yourself in your destination and get a feel for what daily life is like in the land they’ve made their home if only for a few days or a couple of weeks. I’ve worked closely with companies that provide villas and apartments in many locations over the years, and lately, I’ve been super impressed with the inventory they’ve added right here in the U.S. as well as all over the world.

The obvious benefit is having your own, private space to retreat to after a busy day of taking in the sights. The extra benefit, though, is feeling right at home in the destination you’ve been dreaming of.

With ski season upon us, you can book a chalet in hot spots like Park City, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, and the resort areas of Colorado. Looking for something new and a little less traveled? There are private residences you can stay in while hitting the slopes in Oregon, California, and Montana, just to name a few. If you prefer the Alps, I have you covered there as well. And if you never want ski season to end, I can arrange private accommodations in the Andes of Argentina and Chile.

On the domestic front, there are apartments and homes in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. With options for monthly rentals, you can take advantage of the ability to work remotely and explore a new place in your off-hours. It’s a great option for an extended summer vacation once the kids are out of school.

If it has a beach, you’d better believe I can arrange a villa or private home there for you, and I can also accommodate couples or families in private lodgings in places you wouldn’t expect: the South Pacific; the Great Smoky Mountains; minutes from Disney World but away from the crowds; and safari destinations such as South Africa, Tanzania, and Rwanda.

Name the place, and odds are I can find you a villa, apartment, or private home to stay in (and probably a private chef if you want restaurant-quality meals in the comfort of your own lodgings). Many of these places are affiliated with hotels and resorts, so you can get all the amenities you love with the added privacy. It truly is the best of both worlds.

If any of these destinations are calling you for 2022 or beyond, contact us today– capacity limits are still in place in some destinations, which will limit your options.
